Belleville Flange Washers 

These elements are conical spring washers specially designed to prevent any leakage between the bolts and gaskets of a flange due to relaxation or dilatations produced for changes in temperature or pressure. The function of flange washer is to maintain a high load at the joints along the time.

The main advantage of this kind of Belleville springs is the ratio between it’s Outside and Inside diameter. This ratio is smaller than a standard Belleville, and this fact allows these washers to work in applications where the bolts are too closer. In these cases a standard Belleville has no space to be placed. The thickness of the flange washers is also bigger regarding a standard Belleville.

Also, the flange washers are able to return higher forces than a standard Belleville. For this reason are indicated for applications where a high load is required.
